dv activist

she wants more officials to tackle domestic violence issues. if i remember correctly, she said we have two people in the county now, with thousands of cases to handle...

golf to the moon

at a class held by a solar system nasa ambassador to get kids excited about planets and such. they turned golf balls on a long nail to represent the phases of the moon while he held up a black light...to make more sense of what's going on up there.

what have we done?

as we're waiting for the next storm to hit, salt lake has the worst air in the nation. bon appetit.

spiral. jetty.

in the salt lake. a hard crusty layer of ice and salt, with little puddles of water here and there. plus, a rusty metal buoy. it looked like antarctica. or something like that. beautiful. there's never enough time, it seems, to go out and do stuff. with the project done, it's good to be able to at least consider a day off a day off again and just breathe from time to time.
