last christmas

by the time christmas rolls around, I'm usually tired of anything to do with it. this year it was really nice, though, and this assignment on christmas day also was more real than the 'santa is visiting' stories i get so sick of. this was a refugee family from africa -- one of over 100 in our area that received clothes, toy and food donations. story here.
